They are actually the first band on my quest to listen to a new band or show off archive.org every day of 2005. The sound quality is very good to excellent. It is slightly bassy but it really doesn't affect the recording too much. The playing is excellent. Every jam is solid and the songs are great. This is the first of PGroove I've listened to, and I chose this show because it's from one of my favorite places in the world (Asheville, NC!). Completely unfamiliar with the songs and sounds of PG, I through this show on my disc changer and was absolutely floored with what I heard. Patience and beauty best describe the grooves and jams of this show, track after track is a work of art, and the Thriller cover is solid and spooky. I don't remember the last time I downloaded a show from a band I never listened to before and was instantly a fan (Phish maybe?)
