<reviewbody>This is a great recording of a truely fantastic show. Apollo was on fire everynight of this closing out the tour year. The energy is really felt all through this recording!

The matrix gives an accurate feel of the sound...

<reviewbody>i've seen these guys countless times (starting way back during their residency at t.t. the bears place in cambridge) and this is a great recording of a stunning live show. they were particularly onpoint this night. highlights include: ghost, today is the day (sam's guitar solo makes my head hurt), lord, and phyllis. a must have.</reviewbody>

<review><reviewbody>Jesse Gallagher and company take the cake when it comes to live performances by a local band. I've had the pleasure of seeing them a few times, and each time was dazzling and simply refreshing.
Not only is the music in-fucking-credible, but the boys have fun with the audience.

This recording in particular is a good showcasing of their skill with improvisation and literally pulling shows out of their asses, which is something that few bands can pull off so satisfactorily.

They have an interesting mix of styles, creating music that seems like stuff out of your dreams. There's no easy word to describe it or categorize it. Just listen and it'll classify itself.

I especially recommend Phyllis (Which is about Jesse's pet rabbit. No joke.), Happening, Lord, and Today is the Day.</reviewbody>
